Local chimney sweep — Portland, OR

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

The final cost for your chimney service depends on a few specific factors. We look at the total height of the chimney stack, the level of creosote buildup inside the flue, and whether you have a standard masonry fireplace or a prefabricated metal insert. If there are structural blockages like nests or excessive debris that require extra labor, that will also adjust the estimate. We avoid hidden fees, but every setup is unique, so we evaluate the condition of your liner and firebox upon inspection.

About this service

Hiring a local chimney sweep means working with a team familiar with regional building codes and common ventilation issues in your area. We provide routine cleanings and safety checks to ensure your fireplace is ready for use. You should book a local professional whenever you move into a new home with an existing fireplace or if you haven't had a cleaning in over twelve months. Regular local service keeps your home compliant and your family protected from soot-related hazards.

Summer is the best time to inspect your chimney while the weather is clear. We can easily spot structural issues, loose mortar, or cap damage that might have gone unnoticed during the winter. Getting your chimney serviced now means you are fully prepared for the first cold snap of autumn. Give us a call to book your inspection.
